It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that Andrew Wilbey passed away just before Christmas. He helped RAR for over 40 years serving in virtually every role during his tenure including Chair and President. He will be missed by all on the Committee and those at the river bank.

@PeterJOldfield He did the same for RUBC Head and TVP Regatta and Reading Town Regatta. He was a truly exceptional individual. We will miss him terribly.

@TeamTrentRC We are humbled that you choose to travel from Burton to visit us in Reading. It is always a delight to see you. Our sister club Reading Rowing Club was formed in 1867 (RAR was formed in 1842). I think Trent RC was 1863? We have a lot in common! Thank you so much for coming.

Huge thank you to our course team who get up very early to get the course finalised for you to race on. They work on Friday evening and finish Saturday morning and lay about 100 buoys including these two huge ones which mark the start and finish of the course.
