The UGC regulations issue is deeply worrying. General category students already compete in the open category meant for everyone, while reservation was capped at 50% by the Supreme Court in Indra Sawhney. Yet many states have crossed it, some even touching 80–85%. And this is not just about seats. General category students: - pay higher form fees - pay higher admission fees - pay higher college fees - have lesser attempts - get education loans at higher interest rates - pay higher hostel fees - get no free tuition facility from govt - face limited access to library facilities in some places Now the new #UGCRegulations make it worse. Any SC/ST student can file a complaint that leads to a committee inquiry, while the accused student has no protection if the allegation is false. This turns young students into easy targets. At a time when student suicides are rising due to academic and financial pressure, adding fear and uncertainty is dangerous. This will only deepen social fault-lines inside our own society. PM @narendramodi ji must personally intervene to ensure #UGCRollBack before it causes irreversible damage.

I spent the entire December watching “homeland” on Netflix, all 8 seasons of that thing. The moment I was done I deleted the app, never again will I go that deep in a series that long.
A CIA agent once said that the Homeland series is the ONLY MOVIE EVER MADE that comes close to how the CIA operates in real life.
I do not recommend you start it, especially if you love international politics and spy movies. It will suck you in and eat your time.
