Proud of my former colleagues who are in Juneau today defending our great state, speaking with heart/facts, and thinking of generations past, present, and future. Our state is better because of your work. Thank you! #akleg

@radiostieren They know their inner workings best and what works for them. Not advocating for anything more than being active whatever that means to them. I just want all Alaskans (from private citizens like me to industry leaders) to be involved during this pivotal moment.

@radiostieren You may see the need to change our oil Tax structure but I don’t. I think in a crisis that important industries should speak out about impacts. I’ve heard from just about every sector so far and that’s great.

@RepJasonGrenn You're asking them to maintain an unsustainable budget that sooner or later we'll increase taxes them? I mean, have you ever paid attention to members of your former caucus?

@radiostieren Every sector should be voicing their thoughts and sharing what the impacts of the proposed cuts. I’m proud to support the Resource extraction industry, but they shouldn’t be silent right now.

@RepJasonGrenn Your very public argument is that the oil industry should tell government what to do. Have you slept through EVERY ballot measure that made that very claim?

This is an insightful analysis by @Forbes about our university. The short-term and long-term effects of a 41 percent cut puts our state and the people in it at risk. Read more: bit.ly/2Xm9oVi Photo by the Alaska Climate Research Center

Three questions I keep thinking about: A) what is the share of college bound high schoolers who will stay in Alaska? B) What is their parents' reason for staying if their kids head out of state? C) why is this not a long term threat to growth and economic development?

As an Alaskan who cares about our state, you deserve the opportunity to directly tell policymakers what you see as the priorities and values of our community. @GovDunleavy’s budget proposal would fundamentally change life for many Alaskans. Show up and share your opinion! #AKleg

Alaska lost 10,000+ jobs from 2015 - 2018. Data from the non-partisan @ISERWeb says a reduction of $1.6 billion could mean another 17,500+ public and private jobs will be gone plus less services, like snow plowers, troopers, teachers, etc. Read more iseralaska.org/static/legacy_… #akleg

Here’s the presentation from @ISERWeb with more explanation regarding the economic impacts of different options. Each $100 million in cuts means around 1,100 public and private jobs lost. A reduction of $1.6 billion could mean 17,500+ public and private jobs disappear. #akleg

The #akleg career of outgoing State Rep. Jason Grenn was marked by hard-work & bipartisanship. @RepJasonGrenn passed significant legislation including the historic ethics reform bill, HB 44. Over the past 2 years, no one smiled more or worked harder. Thanks for serving Alaska.
