Majority of people who buy games and have opinions, whether you and I like it or not, are on the other side of the controversy. No game flops due to having nude women. A lot of games flop due to perceived wokeness.

TRIGGER WARNING! :) Among all the various awards and nominations we’ve received, we’ve also just been nominated for the @gaymingmag GAYMING AWARDS! I’m really proud of that, because I absolutely stand by the fact that the way we did it is exactly how something like this should be done. Non-coercively, naturally, and educationally (because we show how things really were in the Middle Ages without idealizing them)—and without shoving it down anyone’s throat or trying to re-educate them like so many titles that are rigtfully called "woke" these days. We made the gay community happy and gave them the CHOICE to be themselves, just like we did for others in other choices and quests, and anyone who isn’t interested probably didn’t even notice. Except, of course, for very small and very loud minority. It was my idea, my decision and my responsibility and I had to convince others to do it. I believe, that absolute majority of people get it just as it was intended and the sales and user reviews prove it. None of that means, that I personally don’t find the abundance of forced “woke” nonsense in the entertainment industry annoying at the same time :) Thank you all!

I still think it was an incredibly stupid decision that just opened Warhorse's door for all the worst people in the fandom while upsetting a large portion of your more avid KCD fans. Like... who cares if you're nominated by "the gayming awards" or not? These people are clowns and most of them don't care about video games at all: they just want validation for their sexuality and sociopolitical worldview. Posts like yours give the same energy as those dudes who constantly whine that "video games aren't taken seriously" by the elitist Hollywood types, when said elitists have notoriously dogshit opinions and when video games already surpassed Hollywood as an artform over a decade ago. While I think KCD2 is a great game and I really enjoyed my time with it, it's really obvious that you guys put way more focus and effort into Hans x Henry's gay relationship than you did Hans x Henry's friendship. There's numerous instances where you'd expect to be able to talk to Hans after a big event or something, and he just sits there quietly doing nothing. This tells me that actual time and resources were taken away from their "bromance" in favor of the "romance," which is understandably something a lot of your fans will see as a betrayal.

Who knows… Your decision cost the business money. Whether it was worth it or not is up to the stakeholders.

I have some leftover UBISOFT stock I forgot about and boy, it is in free fall. From 77 to 4 in 5 years... All this while claiming their games are selling as never before.
