@lisaawrites 1- They are never sure if their success is due to their looks or other achievements. 2- In the west, higher education institutions fill students’ minds with crap about social issues. They become confused about life.

Why do very attractive women struggle with low self-esteem? Especially the ones who are very educated.

For anyone who doesn’t know why this is bad, bacteria mostly live on the surface of a cut of meat, not within the muscle. A whole cut can be rare inside because the surface has been safely seared. When meat is ground, all the surface bacteria are mixed in throughout

The UK government says I don’t need a visa as a European resident if I have a same day connection flight. @easyJet thinks they know better and don’t allow me on the plane. Incompetency at its finest.

@_CyanideKisses_ @JoshStrifeHayes I would say most young people leaned left before the left left them behind. That’s the nature of progressivism, I guess. If you stay still it keeps moving away from you.

@gamesandgraphs @JoshStrifeHayes I don't even think gamers lean right. It just might appear that way when you have a loud minority screaming "woke" every chance they get and another loud minority slinging slurs in lobbies for attention. Most gamers are likely non-political and even oblivious to the discourse.

Dangerous question time ⚠️ Do you find 'gaming' culture, in general, leans more to the right or left wing, ideologically. Not, which way do YOU lean, but based on your time in the hobby, which side do you seem to encounter more often.

This is the best weight sled known to man. It replaces friction with adjustable magnetic resistance. - It's Silent - Has near infinite resistance (harder you push, the harder it resists) - Easy to set up - Neighbors no longer hate you, but still think you look weird.

@Avaki6 Yes, but: Make the player earn the last bonefire before the boss rather than just running to it. Like having to clear the area or something. No runback for subsequent tries if you earned it the first time.

@AMAZlNGNATURE Orca pods follow specific diets and humans aren’t abundant enough in their environment to be in the menu. Nothing super complicated.

One of the biggest mysteries to me is how Orcas, the ocean’s most efficient predators, have never attacked humans in the wild… almost like they know something we don’t.

Why doesn’t any mega rich person try to create their own small country? What does it take to build an island nation from scratch?

Yes. And I see and agree with that. But some statistics are being used to gaslight us into thinking things are better than they are. So additional context is helpful. This particular chart uses “number of people” as a label, even though it’s not the number of people. So it should be called out because it’s bad faith.

@gamesandgraphs @elonmusk That’s not the point I was making but ok. More people die in car crashes now than they did 100 years ago but cars are much safer now. Same amount of people are poor in totality yet wayyyy more people are better off.

@FishEnthusiastt @elonmusk I stated a mathematical fact. In 1820 there were ~1 billion in extreme poverty. Today there are ~1 billion in extreme poverty. The absolute amount of suffering hasn’t changed. This isn’t a comment. This is a fact. Don’t let percentages fool you into thinking all is good.

@Grummz Especially with the introduction of realistic lighting systems, first person becomes even more immersive. Realistic lighting in third person feels off. Like when the camera is in direct light but the character is in shadow, it just doesn’t meet expectations.

Update gameplay trailer: Alkahest is a indie/AA open world RPG in first person. I think 1st person can make a comeback. It's really a very immersive camera mode that has been shunned too much in favor or 3rd.

I like how in strongmen competitions people who rush to help in case of an injury are also huge themselves. It’s almost like a cartoon world of giants.
