There’s a lot of emotion that comes with name mispronunciation. But at least give ppl a chance with spelling it in a way that ppl can read! A person reads a name & is met with attitude because it’s not spelled the way it is pronounced Of course I’ll say it how you want but idk that at first read

Illiteracy is definitely showing up PROMINENTLY in the naming of kids There have been several instances where I have “mispronounced” a name because it doesn’t say what the namer or the kid thinks it says Me: that letter doesn’t make that sound
