@bass_espresso @Jimmy85025866 Kubrick said the exact same to Joseph Gelmis in 1969 and described that very plot as the film's "simplest level". He wouldn't have said that if there weren't deeper levels. Plus the visually encoded details of the film prove there are deeper levels unrelated to surface plot.

@NoppaNoppa1 Yeah I don't follow many people at all on social media. I tend to post rather than read. The intellectuals I get most out of published all their work before the internet even existed. Hard today to find people who aren't just parroting other people's content.

@RobAger @_dennis_system you are still about this? when i saw 2001 at a younger age i didnt have a clue whats its about, i thougt it was boring and abstract.when i got older i , i really got in synch with 2001 and i understood it, anyway, 2001 is art , you dont need explanations, its up to the viewer
