I have an idea for March madness final four. A consolation game with the two losing schools for third place. Maybe that’s dumb, but it would be fun to add another game Monday before the title game. With NIL, do it for prize money or something. Random thought today

@HTBAnthony Debatable given the current trend for both conferences but UNC is clearly a hoops royalty destination. Unfortunately the single biggest thing today for top recruits is NIL $$.

Regardless of Lloyd decision, the better job is still the UNC job. He just feels comfortable on the West Coast and that is fine. The Tar Heels will still get a high-level coach.

@jasonscheer Such a great thing to see. And honestly for me anyway, the only place I could really see Tommy leave UA for would be Gonzaga. Tommy has clearly proven he's committed to UA Community. And they are likely to be just as committed to him later when the inevitable struggles come.

@JustinESports Had this discussion yesterday. Fully convinced that if Tobe Owaka did not do what he did during the off-season to take a reduced role for the greater benefit of this squad, what we are seeing now never would’ve happened. His willingness to put team ahead of “me”’ is so rare.

@CFBwSam The smirk tells you all you need to know. All the reaction is happening behind closed doors. Very different then the Oregon that spent the whole season doing "Ducks vs them" videos that did that same kind of thing. Going to be a very entertaining fall, that is for sure.

USC is somewhere in-between the 15th and 5th best team in the country this year... However, Oregon is either the best or 2nd best, and they have better players at most positions. This whole narrative that USC is the superior program right now just isn't correct.

@mythoughts0530 And at least half of those were the careless kind. In games like this you have to be focused and crisp. How they respond in the 2nd half will be really important going into the offseason and fall.

Credit to South Carolina for coming out ferocious and ready. But USC looks like a deer in headlights. Careless turnovers, stagnant offense and watching the ball instead of boxing out - not a great recipe.
