@fballforeverhq Never seen Caleb Downs make an impact play in a big game never seen any forced to fumble or get an interception when it mattered. This is called hype he wanted Thorpe with like 30 tackles and no interceptions.

Justin Frye had 3 of these 5 starters during the National Championship run They get to Tyler Bowen & the OL unit was a mess Ohio State has a ton of experience coming back, but Bowen has to get the group right for Arthur Smith’s scheme to reach it’s ceiling 🎥 @CFBwSam

The future of Michigan AD Warde Manuel is in doubt in the wake of a report of an internal investigation around the Sherrone Moore saga, sources tell @YahooSports. A Michigan Board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, where officials are expected to further respond to the report.

@CFBwSam @SD36036 What's a bigger crime? Not taking a knee to end the game? Or going for a trick play when you could just do something you know works?

@BenHeavyDuty Kenyatta Jackson is probably my top player on the Ohio State DL. However, I think Oregon clearly has the best DL right now.

And due to the transfer portal, the star offensive positions have a hard time fielding consistent, multi-year starters. Most lack OL depth and, more often than not, start a new QB every one or two seasons. Offense commands more dollars, so those players will test their market value more often (talking college at least). Not only are defenses stronger and more creative than ever, but offenses are thinner and being developed more poorly due to the portal, with OL being the position most impacted by it.

If you know what you’re watching yes it is DL are as good as ever. DC’s are as creative as ever. Back 7’s are as fast as ever. Windows close faster. Defenses are elite at muddling the picture . Defenses have adapted to previous rule changes that made it easier for QBs and offenses Not to mention the sheer amount of complexity of offenses now too. QBs literally have to learn every scheme and formation from both sides of the ball and then get the ball out in under 3 seconds or make an athletic move to get away from a dedicated pass rush. It’s hell on earth at that position when it used to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust then the QB hucks it to whoever’s open for the TD off a play action pass Defenses no longer commit to a single identity. They’ll come out and show you one picture pre snap, rotate late, and change how they match routes on every given play. Responsibilities shift after the quarterback has already started his read. These defenses are fluid and dictating the outcome, completely flipping the table on OCs everwhere. It’s harder
