Overall, the scientists found that between 2005 and 2019, there was a 28 per cent decline in spoken words. (...and I guess a lot more from 2019 to 2026?)

Even today, many would struggle to maintain operational presence in these conditions, 1984 would be unimaginable. Stories such as these should be a part of school curriculums. @BharatShaktiBSI @nitingokhale

@RohanBhade 3 different operators so 3 different ticket but if you have Mumbai One app all 3 tickets can b purchased at once and just tap in tap out , same for NCMC card if you have one

@aparanjape You are right in principle. However, the walking infrastructure is abysmal (not limited to Pune only). This is in no way meant as justification to core statement that citizens must condition themselves to walk a bit (for metro, buses etc).

True...agree with the Head of #PuneMetro, Shri Shravan Hardikar. In #Pune the two-wheeler use is so prevalent and 'carved in the DNA' that folks often drive up right to the store/office/tapri (and hardly walk a few steps).... Sometimes they don't even dismount from the two-wheelers while shopping or having a snack/tea/coffee. Often this also leads to illegal parking as well. Metro is great - but world over, it is common to walk a few hundred meters to get to the nearest metro station. This is common in Mumbai since decades as people are used to the suburban locals and buses. Pune has among the lowest bus usage among large cities. As the city moves towards metro adoption, this change management (walking a few hundred steps to the nearest station) is needed. Of course, we need better footpaths with no encroachments. @metrorailpune @PMCPune @navalMH

@nitingokhale Yes Sir, specifically calls out "access to ALL Iranian Ports & Coastal Areas" & extends it to Gulf of Oman/Arabian Sea. The biggest impact would be Kharg Island & Chahbahar Port. I'd read it with POTUS' post about re-opening the Strait of Hormuz.

Does this provide some relief to ships transiting through Hormuz but not coming from Iranian ports? Appears so but needs more clarity

This whole episode emphasises the importance of having an Indian flagged fleet. When the flagging-related laws were changed a couple of years ago, almost no one noticed, but it will turn out to be a consequential process reform in the long run.

Is there a great Mac email client? Like an actual great one where I won't find myself going back to Gmail web four days later.
