Cameron McInnes will go for scans after suffering a suspected right ACL injury in Round 24. Mechanism right out of the textbook - non-contact + planting foot for direction change + can see shift below the knee. Unfortunately hands on tests very accurate at identifying an ACL rupture - if the Sharks medical staff suspect it, MRI will almost always confirm what they already know. Facing likely reconstruction surgery (approx 9 month recovery) that would end his 2025 season & likely delay his start to 2026 as well. McInnes has a history with ACL injury - tearing his left at the start of 2021 & missing the entire season.
