Cameron Munster will require surgery on a cartilage injury in his knee & is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks. The meniscus is a piece of cartilage in the knee that acts as a shock absorber & smooth surface for the joint to move on. Most common meniscus surgery is called a partial meniscectomy - involves trimming/removal of the damaged portion of meniscus (common return to play range in NRL players is 1-2 months)
