2024 ވަނަ އަހަރު ރާއްޖެ އެތެރެކުރާ ކޮންމެ ސިނގިރޭޓަކުން 4 ރުފިޔާ ބޮޑުކުރަން ސަރުކާރަށް މަޖުބޫރުވީ ވަރަށް މުހިންމު ސަބަބުތަކަކަށްޓަކައި. އޭރު ރާއްޖޭގައި ދުންފަތް ކޮންޓްރޯލް ކުރުމުގެ ހަރުދަނާ ނިޒާމެއް ގާއިމްވެފައެއް ނެތް. ވަކިން ހާއްސަކޮށް، ވޭޕް ބޭނުންކުރުމުގެ ނަމުގައި އޭގެ ތެރެއަށް މަސްތުވާތަކެތި އަޅައިގެން ޒުވާނުންނާއި ކުޑަކުދިންގެ މެދުގައި އެ ނުރައްކާ އޮތީ އިންތިހާއަށް ބޮޑުވެފައި. މި ސަރުކާރުން އެޅުއްވި ހަރުދަނާ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން: ✅ ވޭޕް ރާއްޖެ އެތެރެކުރުން މަނާކުރެވިއްޖެ. ✅ 'އޭޖް ބޭން' ނުވަތަ ވަކި އުމުރަކުން ދަށުގެ މީހުންނަށް ދުންފަތުގެ އިސްތިމާލްކުރުން ގާނޫނީގޮތުން މަނާކުރެވިއްޖެ. ✅ ދުންފަތް ކޮންޓްރޯލް ކުރުމުގެ ދެމެހެއްޓެނިވި ހަރުދަނާ ނިޒާމެއް ގާއިމްކުރެވިއްޖެ. މިއަދު ސިނގިރޭޓްގެ ޑިޔުޓީއަށް ލުޔެއް ދޭން މިޖެހުނީ، ދުންފަތުގެ އިސްތިމާލްކުރުން ހުއްޓުވުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ގާނޫނީ އަދި އިދާރީ ހުރިހާ އޮނިގަނޑެއް ފުރިހަމަ ކުރެވުމުން. މިއީ ދުނިޔޭގެ ކުރިއަރާފައިވާ ގައުމުތަކުގައިވެސް ކަންކަން ކުރަމުންދާ އުސޫލް. ހައިރާންވާންޖެހޭ ކަމަކީ، އެދުވަހު ސިނގިރޭޓްގެ ޑިޔުޓީ ބޮޑުކުރުމުން އެކަމާ ދެކޮޅަށް އަޑުއުފުލި އިދިކޮޅު އެމްޑީޕީ މެންބަރުން، މިއަދު އަގު ހެޔޮކުރަން ފެށުމުން އެކަމާވެސް ދެކޮޅު ހަދަމުންދާކަން. މިކަމުން އެނގެނީ އެމްޑީޕީގެ މެންބަރުންނަކީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ހަގީގީ ލާބަޔާއި މަންފާއަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް، ހަމައެކަނި ސިޔާސީ މަންފާއަށް މަސައްކަތްކުރާ ބައެއްކަން. މި ސަރުކާރުގެ އަމާޒަކީ ރައްޔިތުންގެ ދުޅަހެޔޮކަން ކަށަވަރުކުރުމާއެކު، ހަރުދަނާ ނިޒާމެއްގެ ތެރެއިން ގައުމުގެ ކަންކަން ތަރުތީބުކުރުން.
