Lots of complex production agents actually use RAG for tool filtering or prompt selection, and yet there is barely any information about it. We decided to fix that. When your agent has 40+ tools, brute-force selection breaks down. We measured how embedding-based filtering and parallel execution cut failures by 29% and latency by 40% — and why 95% of queries now complete in ≤2 iterations. Read more below ↓

@Iziedking It works. ROMA's decomposition already cuts the long sequential loops RAG was fixing, so for speed your lever is parallel execution of independent siblings.

does this work for recursive agents like Roma that goes through an entire loop to bring a more graceful result. I mean I built on top of Roma live and the loop process makes it look slower for most complex queries parallel execution has always proven a great approach for speed

@SentientAGI ser this is what happens when you stop brute-forcing and actually think about the problem

5/ Concluding, architecture should match query complexity. Over-engineering simple queries with multi-step loops wastes latency and compute. Under-engineering complex queries with single-pass systems sacrifices answer quality. The right system routes each query to the lightest architecture that can handle it well.
