@DanielRPK Resident Evil can be famously slow and creepy, this doesn’t sound slow or creepy at all… I think it’ll probably be a good film, but why is it even called Resident Evil?

Also, yeah I was told the movie is basically one big nonstop chase, with the hero running from one horrible situation to another.

@UWFChrisSpade @BasedCLC I assume they meant ratings rather than attendance since those numbers are similar. But attendance has never really been close, only a few NXT PLEs/PPVs had attendances higher than the average AEW PPV

@BasedCLC You must suck at math because AEW and NXT are not even close in the same attendance. The rest is fair when she gets called up.

NXT isn’t permanent. Blake will eventually move up to working bigger arenas with over 10,000 people weekly. AEW’s flagship show has the same attendance as WWE’s developmental, where they did the guys and the girls ready to perform on WWE’s flagship shows.

@MailsHeguit You can’t faithfully adapt the first game because it’s designed as a video game first and foremost. The experience doesnt work if you squeeze it down to a 90 minute film and ultimately why the hell would I want a movie to just repeat what I already experienced in the game?

This guy (Vince McMahon) may be a terrible person for what he’s done, no defending that. But when it came to booking WWE, he wasn’t this blind. He cared about money, yes, but also about the bigger picture of WWE. He helped shape what pro wrestling is today. It was never just about booking. It was presentation, moments, emotion, vision. And now we’re starting to realize it. WWE felt far more secure under him.

WWE has never longed for celebrity involvement as much as they do in this era. I understand the idea, but I think it’s driving away their dedicated fanbase. Hopefully for WWE’s sake, the people who sample wrestling due to following those celebrities stick around.

@pgCharliee @GiftedMoney Absolutely, right now he is beholden to a lot of masters; Nick Khan, TKO, Endeavour, sponsors and business partners, TV networks, probably one or two more I'm forgetting. Man definitely has made some bad calls but he also has to play the cards he's given

It’s hilarious that when Triple H was running NXT, people would campaign for him to be booking the main roster because they loved what he was doing in NXT. Now people want Shawn Michaels to book the main roster shows because they don’t like how Triple H is doing it and love what Shawn is doing with NXT. Did it ever occur to anyone that NXT is a far easier show to book? It’s one show per week that’s 2 hours. 2 if there’s a PLE. And that’s it. With the main roster you have 5 hours of television, one PLE a month, 4 SNME specials per year, and a selection of wrestlers twice the size of what you had in NXT that you gotta book every week. So then you got people wondering why Johnny Gargano isn’t main eventing PPVs under HHH because he headlined so many Takeovers. Well because those Takeovers didn’t have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk on them. Booking philosophy changes when you have more talent to make happy
