@SheldonLDS @joshpearson180 Because unless he’s incredibly delusional, he’ll know that he’s way off the level and doesn’t put as much effort/time into it as every single other entrant. I can reverse that question towards you, how do you know it’s something he cares about?

He definitely won’t win a tour card next year but if he can do this on a regular basis, I’d definitely back him to win a game or two

@SheldonLDS @joshpearson180 Not sure where you’ve plucked that from. For most players that enter, it means everything to them. He’s going for a laugh/experience (which he’s entitled to) but knows this means fuck all to him, just a way to make money.

I need to do a longer tweet about this format talk because I genuinely think everyone who wants double elim is fucking braindead firstly, these are tournaments, why are we pretending that if you lose a match inside a bracket you should still be in the tournament, doesn't happen in football, darts, NBA. If you lose your series, you are out and rightfully so. secondly, I just listened to the new tacrab video, he said it's an integrity thing to give winners advantage. Have a map veto advantage AT BEST. All this talk of 1-0 leads or resets is the opposite of competitive integrity. If you want those things, you're not a competitor, you want freebies because you won winners finals. thirdly, every match should mean something, the reason this format is ass is because teams lose and they have another game to put it right, that's why viewership drops, because half of these games mean literally NOTHING. every event with 12 teams should have 4 pools with 1 am qualified team too and you can lose in pools but cannot lose if you make it to bracket. Pool games matter cause you're playing for seed/your tournament life, bracket play matters because you're playing for your tournament life, make the games actually mean something. I cannot get my head around people genuinely thinking once you're in a tournament bracket that you should get a second chance, that is what pools and seeding are for, to give you advantage and play worse teams in the bracket. If you lose to those teams, jokes on you, you're ass and didn't show up, you shouldn't get a second chance. BO7s in bracket and BO9s in finals. And btw if you want to talk about "being warm" then put the challenger grand finals right before CDL grand finals, and then nobody can cry. Double elimination is absolutely dog shit and I hope you see this tweet @dtsay56 and don't listen to these numpteys who are talking about 1-0 reset build a bear brackets, they do not have a CLUE.

@SpookyBOS Both teams are still going to be on the game shooting their gun and keeping their hands warm during the "break". Not sure that's going to make difference.

The EASY solution is this -ALL teams play every major -EVERY major is a Pro-Am where we get the top 4 challengers teams bracketed -DOUBLE Elim for every team -Break between LFs and GFs to prevent "hot guns" -LFs team gets only ONE veto of any map/mode combo of their choice Done

@CaesarSZN sorry but i completely disagree, you absolutely can call format cheese. Doesnt matter which team won it is weird to come from winners and not get an advantage. Losers teams winning 50% of tourneys shows something is very off.

FaZe deserve to talk all the shit they want. They played unreal in finals. Gotta take it on the chin. Can’t call format cheese for the same format it’s been for years. The best teams find a way to win. Gutted for the boys. Need to bounce back for major 3. Lots of season left.
