I am posting this again so anyone who missed it last night will get the chance to read it. Muslims praise Sharia as the perfect system, the divine blueprint for a just and prosperous society. Yet, when given the chance, they flee en masse from Sharia-ruled countries, preferring to live under the laws of the very “infidel” societies they claim to despise. Muslims argue that no country applies “true” Sharia, that every failed state enforcing Islamic law is simply “doing it wrong.” From Afghanistan to Iran to Sudan, wherever Sharia rules, poverty, oppression, and violence follow. But instead of questioning the system itself, they blame “corrupt leaders” or “Western interference.” The default excuse is that Muslim governments are puppets of the West, that their rulers are “hypocrites” who have betrayed Islam. It’s never about the fact that Sharia law itself stifles economic growth, suffocates personal freedoms, and enforces medieval social norms. It’s always an outside conspiracy, never an internal flaw. To explain why Islamic nations lag behind while Western nations thrive, they tell themselves: •Allah has given the West material success as a test. •Muslims are being “tested” with suffering to earn a better afterlife. •Western wealth and progress are meaningless without Islam. This cognitive dissonance allows them to envy and demonize the West at the same time, all while desperately trying to immigrate to it. When Muslims flee Sharia and move to secular societies, you’d think they’d be relieved to escape it. But no. Instead, they demand Sharia law wherever they go. Because for them, Sharia isn’t about governance, economy, or justice, it’s about power and control. •Sharia, to them, is reduced to sex, women, and control. •Forcing women to cover up. •Restricting free speech against Islam. •Enforcing Islamic social norms on non-Muslims. •They want to merge Western power with Islamic dominance. •They see the West’s economic success and military strength and believe that if Islam was imposed onto this system, it would create the ultimate global empire. •They believe Western wealth + Sharia morality = Islamic supremacy. When Muslims demand Sharia, what they actually are asking for is replacing the ethical foundations of the West, replacing personal freedom with religious submission, democracy with theocracy, and human rights with Islamic jurisprudence. Islamic societies don’t work. The more Islamic a country is, the worse it functions. The West’s success is built on Judeo-Christian values, individual freedom, and rule of law, not Sharia. And until Muslims admit this truth, they will continue running from the system they claim is perfect, while trying to impose it on the very civilization that saved them.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the formulation of “Zionist” into a slur in mainstream western liberal spaces is the most important antisemitic development in the twenty-first century.

I don’t think any lie I’ve ever seen in my entire lifetime is bigger than the idea that there is a genocide in Gaza. If any reasonable person looks at it they will see it’s simply not true. Israel has been remarkably cautious and effective in prosecuting this war.

Did you know that the policy our government towards Israel may well be fueling antisemitism in Australia? Policy Changes Towards Israel: Over the past 2 years the current Australian government has made 5 significant changes to its policy towards Israel (reversal of Jerusalem recognition, referring to Judaea and Samaria, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip as ‘Occupied Palestinian Territories’, voting in Favour of a UN resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, recognizing Palestinian sovereignty over natural resources in ‘occupied territories’, considering recognition of Palestinian statehood, and declining to supply weapons to support Israel in its defensive war against Hamas). I believe these policies have fueled antisemitism in Australia by rewarding the strategy of the Islamist and anti-Israel/antisemitic forces in Australia. The war in Israel is not about real estate: Islam teaches that once a land has been conquered by Islam, it belongs to Islam/Allah forever. It is a theological and moral imperative to recapture such land for Allah. Any non-Islamic government on that land is evil and must be overthrown. Re-conquest alone will remove the shame that the loss of the land entails, and restore honour to Allah. For hundreds of years, Israel was conquered by, and ruled by Muslims. Thus, it must return to Islamic rule. Not a sliver of the land can be ruled by anyone other than Muslims. As a result, Arab nationalists/Islamists have never accepted the existence of a Jewish State. They resisted the original two-state solution of 1947/48 (agreed to by the UN and Israel) and have waged a non-stop war of re-conquest against Israel (in various ways, by various aggressors) since then. The conflict in Israel is not about real estate, it is about theological imperatives and the honour of Allah. Reconquest through international isolation: A key strategy in this war of re-conquest by the Islamists/Arabs is to remove international support for the State of Israel. There are two major parts of this strategy. Firstly, the existence, and ‘suffering’ of the Palestinian “refugees”, with a right of return to Israel, en masse, with all their descendants, is a critical weapon in the arsenal to erode international support for Israel, and hence speed its defeat. The Palestinian refugees are the only group in the entire history of refugees whose status passes on in perpetuity to their descendants. The UN and UNRWA in particular have embedded this view of the Palestinian right of return in the global imagination. UNRWA has exacerbated the problem by becoming the key institution for the radicalisation of the Palestinian population through their schools. The Islamists have created a permanent group of millions of ‘dispossessed innocent victims’ of Israeli colonial occupation. This primes the Western imagination to believe that it is Israel’s intransigence and racist policies which are the real reason that there is no peace in Israel. If only they would accept the right of return, then there would be peace. This reality has also provided a steady, and growing stream of young people, who are radicalized and recruited in the various terror groups attacking Israel. Secondly, the strategy of Hamas has been to offer up its civilian population as human sacrifices to erode international support for Israel. Constant images of suffering civilians has supported the narrative that Israel is an apartheid colonial oppressor committing genocide and war crimes in Gaza. This strategy has been remarkably successful. At the very least, many people of Israel’s Western allies harbour niggling doubts about Israel’s conduct and morality. This means that they are open to changes in policy towards Israel. In Australia, the strategy of Hamas has resulted in a massive mobilisation of Islamists and radical anti-western leftists. This mobilisation has resulted in the surge of antisemitism across Australia, and the Western world. The immediate purpose of these actions is to bring pressure to bear on the government to shift its policy away from support of Israel. The long-term purpose of these actions is to move Australian society towards an Islamist government. Political appeasement as a reward for antisemitism: The capture of many of the cultural and political ‘elite’ by this propaganda, has meant the current government believes a shift away from its traditional support of Israel will not cost it votes among the general population, and in fact, may gain it votes in key inner city and Muslim dominated electorates. The government also seems to believe that it can restore the previous social cohesion Australia enjoyed through these acts of political appeasement at the UN. Such acts of appeasement, far from restoring social cohesion, will in fact continue to stoke the very division they are designed to remove. This is because such acts reward the strategy of the Islamists in Australia and encourage them to continue their campaign against Israel and the Jewish community. The Australian government and civil society need to understand that the Islamist strategy, to pressure Western governments to isolate Israel, will only end when the State of Israel is destroyed and replaced with an Islamic state. The end game of the Islamists is not a two-state solution. Western governments and populations have to start taking the Islamists at their word. They have to stop projecting Western values and solutions onto them and believe them when they say they will never accept a Jewish state in the Middle East. There are only two options: There are only two options when it comes to the Middle East and Israel: support the existence State of Israel or support the replacement of Israel with an Islamist state. Only by making it clear, by its actions in both domestic and foreign policy, that Australia will never support the eradication of Israel and its Jewish population, will there be an incentive on the part of the Jihadists in Australia, to abandon their campaign against the Jewish community and more broadly western civilization. Only when Islamists and antisemites understand that their campaigns against the Jewish community, against Israel, and Western civilization will never work, will they abandon this strategy and will Australia regain the social cohesion which we have enjoyed for so long. Far from bringing peace, appeasement will only fuel division and hatred. The Jewish community in Australia will never be safe while the government of the day appeases groups who are historically, ideologically, theologically and militarily committed to the destruction of the Jewish state and the cleansing of the Middle East of its Jewish (and Christian) population. What should we then do to ensure Australia is a safe and free civilization for Jews? We need to work together to ensure that mainstream Australia understands and rejects the Islamist agenda for Israel. We need to ensure that no Australian political party ever adopts policy which encourages Islamist agendas and strategies here in Australia. This is what it means to “make antisemitism unthinkable”!
