I’ve finally decided to read the entire bible. So far, I’ve read Genesis and Exodus. I’m obviously really interested in reading the Gospels and New Testament. I’m debating skipping ahead to the Gospels. What do you recommend I do: Read the bible from front to back or skip ahead and read the Gospels (or entire New Testament) and then go back to the Old Testament.

If you’re still trying to figure out Trump’s “Praise be to Allah,” reflect on this: And Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.”

📜 Historical & Biblical Records of the Supernatural Darkness at the Cross ➕ Thallus (c. AD 52): One of the earliest mentions, though his work is lost and only known through later quotes (e.g., Julius Africanus), Thallus attempted to explain the darkness as a solar eclipse. However, Africanus noted that a solar eclipse cannot occur during Passover, which occurs at a full moon. This is evidence of a supernatural event which can't be explained by science. Phlegon of Tralles (c. AD 137): A Greek historian who recorded that during the 4th year of the 202nd Olympiad (AD 33), there was the greatest eclipse of the sun, causing darkness to fall at noon and revealing stars, accompanied by a significant earthquake. Geologists have since confirmed an earthquake in Jerusalem, AD 33. Tertullian (c. AD 200): In his Apology, he challenges skeptics to consult their own archives regarding this event, suggesting the darkness was documented in Roman records. See below. Chinese Records: Some reports suggest the History of Latter Han Dynasty records "sun and moon were eclipsed" or "Yin and Yang have mistakenly switched" during the summer of the 7th year of Emperor Guang Wu (AD 33). This indicates it was a global event. Additional Evidence: Lunar Eclipse Scientific analysis of historical data has confirmed a partial lunar eclipse (a "blood moon") was visible from Jerusalem on the evening of April 3, 33 AD, which is consistent with the timing of the Passover and the crucifixion. A blood moon was prophecied in the Old Testament. Joel 2:31 (400-800 BC): "The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious day of the LORD". Peter quotes this prophecy on Pentecost, interpreting the recent events (likely referring to the crucifixion and resurrection) as the fulfillment of prophecy. Evidence for Broader Visibility: The account from Phlegon indicates the darkness was noted in distant areas like Nicaea and was experienced strongly in Athens and Rome. Nature of the Event: The event was "unexpected" and did not match a natural solar eclipse, leading ancient writers to describe it as a "darkness induced by God".

📜 In the darkness of a sealed tomb in Jerusalem in AD 33, the Light of the World literally shone forth — and the World has never been the same since. Jesus said, ‘I AM the way, the truth, and the life’ (John 14:6), and ‘I AM the LIGHT of the World’ (John 8:12) On the Shroud of Turin, an image was formed by an intense burst of vacuum ultraviolet radiation—a flash of light SO POWERFUL and precise that it encoded a perfect 3D negative of the crucified and risen Christ on the surface of the cloth. No natural process and no human technology, even today in 2026, can replicate this image with all its unique properties. Scientists have tried using lasers, ultraviolet light, chemicals, heat, and every modern technique imaginable, but they cannot produce anything that matches the microscopic precision, the extreme surface-only effect (just the top 0.2 microns of the fibers), the perfect negative encoding, and the 3D information all at once. Even attempts using tens of trillions of watts of energy on small pieces of cloth fall short. In the darkness of a sealed tomb in Jerusalem in AD 33, the Light of the World literally shone forth — and the world has never been the same since. Fr. Andrew Dalton, who teaches Shroud Studies at the Pontifical University in Rome (UPRA), strongly affirms the Shroud’s authenticity as a first-century archaeological artifact. He points to multiple lines of evidence: the linen’s weave and pollen consistent with ancient Jerusalem, the anatomically perfect wounds of a crucified man (including rare Roman flagrum marks and nail placements), the absence of any decomposition or putrefaction (fitting the biblical account of a Resurrection in 3 days), and newer scientific dating methods (such as Wide-Angle X-ray Scattering) that place the cloth’s origin in the 1st century AD. No other ancient cloth bears a negative, 3D-encoded image like this. That Jesus lived and was crucified on the cross is a historical fact that Christians and atheist historians can all agree on. The Shroud is not needed in this regard. What the Shroud does point to is the miracle of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, Light of the World—the face of the Son of God. 📑 Note: The Shroud is the most studied archaeological object in the history of the World. This is the only explanation scientists can come up with today.

The Shroud Hypothesis Explained in 60 Seconds The image is believed to have been formed by an intense, ultra-short burst of radiation/light emanating from the body of Christ himself (10's of Trillions of Watts)—at the precise moment of the Resurrection. The body of Christ essentially “dematerializes” as the cloth collapses through the space where the body had been, and the radiation from his body discolors the linen fibers in exactly the pattern of the crucified Christ. This is the only hypothesis that science has to explain all the known properties at once. Every naturalistic attempt (painting, acid, heat, vapor, etc.) fails on multiple points—except this one. The Shroud has been dated to the 1st Century AD. This is the most studied archaeological artifact in the history of the World. The science confirms many of the details found in the Bible. Jesus said, 'I AM the LIGHT of the World'. He is coming soon. ✝️

The Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Jesus, is the most studied artifact in human history. Not "one of". The most. After decades of research across science, medicine, and history…no one can fully explain how the image got there. I created a free guide to help you understand the evidence and why it matters. And on Holy Thursday, I’ll be sharing a video breaking it all down. Grab the guide now: bit.ly/3NWHn1T

This was extremely rushed—in strict accordance with Jewish law. NO WORK ON THE SABBATH which starts at sunset on Friday~6pm. So 2-3 hours only. They would have worked up until the last minutes before the stone was rolled across the tomb. Hence the women returned early to finish.

This is the explanation of why the Blessed Virgin Mary was not among the women who went to the tomb early on Sunday morning. Joseph of Arimathea had to take Jesus down from the cross at 3pm, remove the nails clean & annoint him & wrap his body in the Shroud before Sabbath at 6pm.

Are you not wondering… …why the Blessed Virgin Mary, Jesus’ own Mother, was not among the women who went to the tomb early on Easter morning to complete the anointing and cleansing of His body? Isn’t it only natural that His Mother would be the very first, eager to finish this final act of love? Tradition offers a beautiful and profound explanation: Jesus had already appeared to His Mother first, in a private, tender encounter filled with love and consolation. She kept this joy in her heart, just as she had pondered so many mysteries throughout her life (cf. Luke 2:19, 51). This pious belief is supported by the teachings of the saints and Doctors of the Church... ⚡St. Vincent Ferrer declared that the first apparition after the Resurrection was to the Blessed Virgin Mary. ⚡Saints such as Ambrose, Anselm, and Albert the Great, along with St. Ignatius of Loyola in his Spiritual Exercises, affirm that the Risen Lord appeared first to His Mother, not to prove the Resurrection to the doubting, but to delight and console the one who had suffered most with Him at the Cross. ⚡As Pope St. John Paul II reflected, it is legitimate to think that the Mother was probably the first person to whom the risen Jesus appeared. Her absence from the group heading to the tomb may itself be a silent witness to this intimate meeting. ⚡Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, in her visions, described this moving encounter: At the very moment the angel descended and the earth quaked at the tomb, she saw the Risen Lord appear to His holy Mother on Mount Calvary. Jesus was transcendently beautiful and glorious. He spoke to her of all He had done in Limbo, showed her His radiant wounds, and comforted her sorrow. Mary, overwhelmed with love, prostrated herself to kiss His sacred feet, but He tenderly raised her up. It was a moment of profound reunion between Son and Mother, the first fruits of the Resurrection shared in perfect intimacy. ✅ This has been the basis of the colorful traditional Encuentro (“encounter”) in Spanish-speaking regions, or the Salubong in the Philippines, where at dawn the images of Mary and the Risen Jesus are carried from opposite directions and meet in front of the church, reenacting this sacred encounter. "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!" Happy Easter! He is Risen! Alleluia! 🙏✝️

This photo is worth a million words. To see this spot transform from a place of imminent death for Christians fed to hungry, abused lions & brutally massacred to the Church the communion of Saints celebrates Easter shows the almighty power of God. Even in the darkness, He is working all things together for good. The gates of hell have never, and will never, prevail against His Church.

Allah is not a living god. Trump knows this & was mocking. Jesus said 'I AM the LIGHT of the World'. He proved this on the CROSS ➕ and in his supernatural resurrection. 🌅 ✝️ He is the ALPHA & OMEGA. He was there before the BEGINNING of the World and will be there at its END.

📜 Christian Message 🌅 ✝️ 0. Khamenei is dead 1. Muhammad is dead 2. Allah is dead—he's a demon from hell. 3. Muslims don't believe in Jesus of the Bible—who is the Alpha & Omega, Crucified on the Cross, died for our sins & is risen. ➕ New Catholics—A warm welcome home. 🌅 ➕

Following Jesus Christ (pbuh) necessarily entails supporting the truth and renouncing anti-truth powers. It is hoped that Christians and Muslims everywhere in the world will keep this great lesson of Jesus Christ (pbuh) alive in their lives and actions. Jan. 2, 1995 #Easter

Hot cross buns are nearly 700 years old. One of Britain’s oldest Easter traditions, still eaten today. The story begins in 1361 when Brother Thomas Rocliffe baked and distributed buns on Good Friday at St Albans Abbey. But in 1592, under Elizabeth I, spiced buns were restricted by law to just three occasions: Good Friday, Christmas, and burials. Thankfully, the tradition survived every ban, every change, every century. The cross marks the Crucifixion. The spices recall Christ’s burial. The fruit represents renewal and hope after fasting. Split, toasted, and thickly buttered, the hot cross bun remains one of Britain’s simplest and oldest seasonal comforts. Do you toast yours with plenty of butter or eat them straight out of the pack?
