@TrustTheDocUK Counter argument. The bigger an artist is the easier it is to create pre-release "buzz". For artists with little to no fanbase, there's no point targeting pre-release, the review has a lot more value if there is actually a track to listen to there and then.

What kind of plugger orders me not to publish a review of their client's single 2 weeks prior to release because it needs to be a secret until the day of release?!!! Good luck with creating a buzz & generating pre-sales guys! Lol! Note to band: Hire someone with a clue next time.
