Glad I can educate you on this topic, seems like you really need the help. Your deceptive chart counts the raw # of reports, which includes multiple reports from the same events and doesn’t disprove the point. Below more accurately shows the increase large hail events over time in WI. Btw— the definition of severe hail was updated by NWS in 2010 to >=.75in, so your thresholds are dumb too.

Lol, lmfao even. You did not watch a second of my video. Want to know how I know? 🤔 Because you missed this chart showing the number of large hail reports in Wisconsin since 2000, according to the NOAA Storm Events Database. Can you spot the increase? I cannot. Also, you missed the graphic on the right that shows why negative lapse rate feedback (predicted by climate models) should reduce updraft speeds, which are otherwise critical to hail formation. When it comes to the battle of the wits and facts, you are unarmed.

I am a degreed meteorologist. You, on the other hand, are the chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. I live and breathe the weather for a living, you play politics. If anyone is getting an education here, it will be you. The hail report chart you posted is from the Wisconsin State Climatology Office at UW-Madison. On that website, they state that the NWS upped the criteria of “severe hail” from 0.75 inch to 1.0 inch in January 2010, not the other way around like you claim. So, I was correct in plotting the 1-inch data as well as 1.50” for good measure. Your reading comprehension skills suck horse dick, so I strongly recommend that you drive on down to LensCrafters and schedule an eye doctor appointment as soon as possible. 🔗 climatology.nelson.wisc.edu/highlighting-w… Severe weather data, particularly hail reports, prior to the 2000s are not very reliable because the WSR-88D radar was not implemented until the early 1990s. The increase in rural population and increased use of cameras has resulted in the observed increase in spotter reports since the 1950s, which the website you pulled that chart from also states. Here is more reading for you to do: 🔗 repository.library.noaa.gov/view/noaa/4543… Over the 25-year period for which we have RELIABLE spotter and radar data for Wisconsin, there has been no detectable increase in severe hail reports of 1.0” or 1.50” in diameter. You would be wise at this point to shut up, admit you were wrong, and show some humility here because you are not an expert on atmospheric science.

MacKinnon has been leading on Kalshi basically from wire to wire and I’m astounded that there’s been a late surge for McDavid. Nate put up 5 on 5 numbers not seen since Gretzky. Just as good as McDavid on offense but a much better defender and leading the league in WAR. If they give the Hart to McDavid we riot.

🏆 Hart Trophy graphic for @ThePHWA members If I had a vote: 1) MacKINNON had 'perfect' season (+58 at 5v5, Rocket, led wire-to-wire best team) 2) McDAVID = brilliant. But PP dominance (52 PTS) & heavy ice time hid 30th place in 5v5 PTS/60 3) KUCHEROV wins almost any other year

The fact that he keeps using Lebanon as a positive example of Muslims and Christians living together, when the Christian population there has been persecuted and reduced to just 30% of the country, is an issue. He seems to always grade Islam on a curve.

My stepfather was part of the Verizon layoffs several months ago after 10 years. He’s a data scientist. He’s applied everywhere. He can’t find work. He has a Master’s from Fordham University. This is exactly the kind of person we’re told the economy is built for. Educated. Experienced. Proven. And yet, he’s being passed over. While we’re told there’s a “shortage” of qualified workers. There isn’t a shortage. There’s a system that would rather replace Americans than invest in them. And people like him are paying the price.

🚨 The H-1B visa program isn’t what you think. It’s not about a “talent shortage.” It’s a labor control system hiding in plain sight. With the help of @qaggnews, we analyzed 20 YEARS of USCIS data. Here’s what they don’t want you to notice 🧵

The Pope cites Lebanon as an example of peaceful “coexistence” between Christians and Muslims. Fun fact: Lebanon was literally created to be a homeland for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. And it was for a few decades. The moment Muslim invaders thought they had the numbers, they started a civil war that lasted 15 years because they didn’t want to live with the same Christians who made them part of the country. Thousands of Christians were massacred, Muslims became the majority, Hezbollah took over, and the country hasn’t known peace ever since. Lebanon is the first and ultimate example that coexistence between Christians and Muslims is quite literally impossible. It’s mind-blowing that anyone would use it as an example of coexistence, let alone the Pope.

A young mountain girl stands outside her family’s cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains in this circa 1912 photograph. It captures a rare and intimate look at rural Appalachian life, a region that at the time remained largely cut off from much of the United States.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.
