I don’t actually believe that farmers are intrinsically more important than anyone else in the economy.
Ireland imports about 80% of its food, according to sources I’m seeing, we can afford because of the hardworking ppl in the laptop class who bring in billions in investment.

I’ve noticed a huge number of accounts posting anti-protest propaganda are accounts that were formerly pumping out constant pro-Ukraine propaganda - many of them with few followers or interaction, but large post counts. All anonymous of course. What’s the story there I wonder?
