We’ve lost an old friend of Commodore. Hedley Davis, Senior Design Engineer, helped shape part of what many of us still love about this machine era: from the famous spinning globe REU demo that stunned CES in 1985, to engineering work on C64 peripherals and early Amiga systems. His work was part of the fabric of Commodore’s story; thoughtful, technical, and quietly influential. We honor his contribution, and send our condolences to all who knew him, worked with him, and loved him.

@StevenCombs You're probably right, these were not good sellers and Commodore had a lot left over. I got one in last week sold as "NOS" that was decidedly NOT NOS. It was full of stink bugs, dirty and missing the power supply.... I got a refund on that one.

I got in this #commodore Plus/4 yesterday. It was sold as "NOS" and I'm always dubious of any claims of "new old stock". I think this one is NOS! It looks pristine and unused. All the packaging was in place, the power supply and other cables had their factory cable ties on them. The machine has not a scratch or blemish on it. I tested it and it works great. Now to find out the best Plus/4 games! #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing
