We’ve lost an old friend of Commodore. Hedley Davis, Senior Design Engineer, helped shape part of what many of us still love about this machine era: from the famous spinning globe REU demo that stunned CES in 1985, to engineering work on C64 peripherals and early Amiga systems. His work was part of the fabric of Commodore’s story; thoughtful, technical, and quietly influential. We honor his contribution, and send our condolences to all who knew him, worked with him, and loved him.

My barber has a ZX SPECTRUM PLUS 2 and an Amstrad CPC in a recess under the shop window. When I asked 'Why?', they replied 'Why not?'.

@R2D24Life Sometimes you need to force HDMI in the video menu. And not all monitors have speakers. That one already bit me when I tried to use my C64U on my cheap HP monitor.

So I did not have any sound/music from my C64U last night apart from the “disk” noises. I did not have time to explore but believe it is a settings issue as I am connected to the monitor with HDMI. Will start there next round. I wanted to hear some SID tunes! Wee Are Commodore

Received my Commodore 64 Ultimate Starlight Edition. I ordered it on Dec 15th, so it took 2 1/2 months to receive this one. The outer box did have some damage, but it did its job, & the inner box is ok. My BASIC Beige took 5 months to arrive. Still waiting on my Founders Edition.
