There's Something About Miriam was a 2004 British reality show in which six men were flown to Ibiza to compete for a £10,000 prize and the heart of 21-year-old Mexican model Miriam Rivera. What the men didn't know was that Miriam was transgender. In the finale, after selecting the winner, Miriam revealed the truth. Multiple contestants immediately banded together and sued the production company. The case was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed sum, reportedly around half a million pounds split between the men. Miriam Rivera was sadly found d*ad in her apartment in Sonora, Mexico in February 2019, aged 38. Miriam’s tragic death was ruled a su**ide, though some family members believed m*rder instead.
