While we’re on the topic of declassifying intelligence assessments…. Trump’s IC still hasn’t released the unclassified version of the IC assessment of the 2024 election- something released within months of the 2020 and 2022 federal elections. Why won’t he? What’s the hold up?

Virginia, much of our Commonwealth is experiencing hazy skies and poor air quality today… and it could last all the way through the weekend. Those with heart disease, lung disease, asthma, and other complicating health issues should stay indoors. Everyone should limit strenuous activity.

Sen. Mark Warner just told our @MSNow audience that everything Trump raised tonight had been examined by the Senate intel committee, which agreed on a bipartisan basis that the spy agencies were right when they said in 2020 that no foreign government changed any votes.

Trump released documents that confirm Russia tried to interfere in the 2020 election to hurt Biden. It says Russia tried to "orchestrate a high-profile corruption scandal" and push narratives about "voter fraud resulting from mail-in balloting"

That was an embarrassing speech with no new info – just lies and rehashed conspiracies. It’s incumbent on ALL of us not to treat that like real news.

Tonight, Donald Trump made one thing abundantly clear: He’s going to do everything he can to interfere in our free and fair elections. This is the time for all of us to stand together and fight back.

These are accusations against his OWN appointees from his first term… several of whom he reappointed. Is he suggesting his own officials should be fired or arrested?

Isn’t it weird that Trump’s speech never mentioned Russia – probably the single biggest perpetrator of election influence?

It’s pretty laughable to watch Trump try and pretend accessing the voter file is the same thing as election interference. ANY statewide candidate will tell you that information is publicly available to purchase – it’s not some huge breach.

Trump uses his primetime address to claim mail-in ballots are “inherently corrupt”… while he’s used them time and time again.

Well folks, as expected, Trump revealed essentially nothing new. His speech was just lies & long-debunked conspiracies about the 2020 election. This is all just a prelude to interfere in our midterms — don’t fall for it.

Trump’s shocking “bombshells” about China are totally bogus. The fact is our intelligence agencies unanimously agreed that China did not even try to change a single vote in the 2020 election. A single concurring opinion suggested China may have tried to sway voters’ opinions… but that’s been public knowledge since 2021.

Whatever false claims Trump makes tonight, remember the facts: he’s been publicly saying for months that he wants to interfere in our elections. Tonight’s speech is designed to help him justify that. Do not fall for it.

While this forever war rages, you continue to foot the bill.
