@CJPhillips1982 He should do better yes but I think he is worried that if he commits himself to go to ground and try and collect the ball then he risks giving away a penalty. Goodliffe should do better after. And even in the lead up, GSM is out of position which allows the ball to be played in

A bit of a surreal experience watching my club Southend away against the side I developed a soft spot for while at Uni in Bath City
Bath were on top until they were reduced to ten men but still gave a good showing and scored a cracker. Banana skin avoided for Blues!

@CJPhillips1982 Bath were on top up until the red card and we have since controlled the game without really offering too much of a threat. Great cross and header for the goal though after a poor penalty. Need a second early in the second half

Gutted for the match to get called off and hour before kick off. But nice of @BathCity_FC to hand out free sausage rolls and pasties.

If Blues' match with Bath City is called off this weekend it is likely to be played on Tuesday 13th due to it being an FA competition which means it takes priority.

@liamkier59 @SUFCRootsHall There is seating at Bath but when they segregate the stadium for bigger games (which I imagine they are doing for this) then seating is only for home supporters I believe

I had my fingers crossed this would be the draw! I went to Uni in Bath and adopted the Romans as a second team. Looking forward to a trip to Twerton Park in January 😊

Excellent performance today after a poor run. Created lots of chances and eventually killed them off. Boyes, Morton and Dallas all superb. Kept the top league scorers very quiet. Pleased to see Spasov score his first goal at the Hall

Southend 0-2 Scunthorpe
An awful opening 15 mins to the second half all but ended any hope for 3 points today. Same old problems again which were highlighted more by a strong Scunthorpe team. Desperately need another striker in to support Dallas

Credit where credit is due that was a much better all round performance. Still missed some decent chances but 3-0 was the least we deserved. Aldershot were very poor but we defended well. A much needed win for @SUFCRootsHall
