@LuluGamingDK @RealMikeTheVike Wrong. In game ships will be permanent as long as you have them insured. It's like a car. You'll get a replacement if insured, but if you crash your car without it, you'll end up paying full price to replace or be SOL.

@RealMikeTheVike Keep in mind that ships you buy in game will not be permanent eventually. Only ships you buy off.The store are permanent. If you don't get at least level one insurance. In game, if the ship gets blown up, it's gone forever. Granted we still have time. 1.0

@Sony_XDEV I've just lost all of yesterday's progress and saves, both auto saves and manual saves because of this patch. Are you all aware of this issue and planning on fixing that or is there no point in waiting and just grind all that out again?

@Richardpwnu @Dexerto Then you can just patiently wait and then purchase SQ42 when it releases allegedly in 2026 for a normal price. You are not forced to buy a $1k+ ship pack to play SQ42.

@Richardpwnu @Dexerto No. SC and SQ42 are fully funded by the community and thus they have been selling ships and larger ship packs since the kickstarter in order to fund the development of the game. However you only are required to spend $45 to buy a starter ship pack and that’s it.

Hypothetical here: Tariff car: 40k because of forced price increase to accommodate tariffs US car: WAS 32k but now seeing its competition is forced to sell at 40k, decides to raise its prices to 39k because it’s still cheaper and more profits What stops this from happening?
