Only one extra-base hit for Kentucky tonight with 12 Ks. Feels like most of their issues revolve around these two stats. Just seeing too many strikeouts for a team that isn’t going to slug its way to victories.

@DerekSTerry When you have men on 3rd and less than 2 outs multiple times and you can’t plate them then it’s time to change your approach. Shorten up the swing and put the ball in play, it doesn’t have to be put out of the park.

UK is having a hard time piecing it together right now as it drops its third straight SEC game, this one in pretty ugly fashion to Missouri. Way too many missed opportunities from the offense in this one. Hit just .182 as a team and left 13 on.
