मैं एक दक्षिण भारतीय हूँ। तेलुगु मेरी मातृभाषा है। मैंने अपना पूरा जीवन तेलुगु भाषा और तेलुगु टेलीविजन के लिए काम करते हुए बिताया है। लेकिन आज जीवन में पहली बार मैंने हिंदी में एक वीडियो बनाया। क्यों? क्योंकि मैं अपने उत्तर भारतीय भाइयों और बहनों से दिल से बात करना चाहता था। आज जिस परिसीमन की बात हो रही है, उससे दक्षिण भारत के राज्यों को कितना नुकसान हो सकता है, यह समझाना जरूरी लगा। यह सिर्फ राजनीति का विषय नहीं है, यह हमारे देश के संतुलन और न्याय का सवाल है। मैं आपसे सिर्फ इतना कहना चाहता हूँ कि यह महान भारतवर्ष हम सबका है। जितना अधिकार उत्तर भारत का है, उतना ही अधिकार दक्षिण भारत का भी है। और अगर दक्षिण भारत के साथ कोई नाइंसाफी होती है, तो यह सिर्फ दक्षिण की नहीं, पूरे भारत की चिंता होनी चाहिए। इसलिए मैंने आज पहली बार हिंदी में बात करने की कोशिश की, ताकि हम एक-दूसरे को बेहतर समझ सकें और एक-दूसरे के साथ खड़े हो सकें। उम्मीद है आपको मेरी हिंदी समझ आई होगी, और अगर कहीं कोई त्रुटि रह गई हो तो दिल से क्षमा चाहता हूँ। आइए, भाषा से नहीं, भावना से जुड़ें। क्योंकि हम सब मिलकर ही भारत हैं। 🇮🇳❤️

For those asking for detailed explanation. Here it is! This delimitation proposal is going to be based on population. South India which strictly followed family planning and controlled its population will lose out on the number of MPs who will get to represent us in the parliament. Andhra Pradesh is set to lose 9 seats (Instead of 39 will only now have 30 seats) Telangana will lose 2 seats (Instead of 27 will now only get 25 seats) Karnataka will lose 3 seats (Instead of 44 will get only 41 seats) Kerala will lose 11 seats (instead of 31 will get only 20 seats) Tamil Nadu will lose 12 seats (instead of 69 will get only 49 seats) Overall, South India will lose 37 MP seats!!! Which is a massive number. At the same time - Uttar Pradesh which ignored population control and is a favourite place for saffron party will see its seats jump from current 80 to 143!!! Bihar also will go up from current 40 to 79!! Madhya Pradesh will go up from 29 to 52!! Instead of doing the correction proportionally they are doing it as per population. With that kind of political power North India will dictate South India. Tomorrow a bill gets tabled in the parliament, they won’t even need South MPs to vote. Just the Northen Hindi belt MP numbers will be enough. Meanwhile, South India will slog and pay all the taxes! We contribute to 31 percent of the nation’s GDP, our per capita income is more than 50pc the national average..!!! Currently we are getting only thirty rupees back from the Rs 100 we pay as tax, for development schemes (like metro or water projects or railways). Rest Rs 70 is going to the North. Tomorrow, the North MPs will sit and vote saying we don’t have to give them 30 rupees back to the South India only 1 rupee for every Rs 100 is enough - that will become the law! None of us can say anything. We will basically become a colony of the North. How the British collected taxes from India and took everything back to the country while we slogged, same will happen to South India! So raise your voice! Oppose this oppressive Delimitation!

Meanwhile most of the media has obediently published the sarkari tables which show 50% increase. But no one has shown any link between sarkari tables and sarkari bills. Can anyone please show me the provisions in the existing bills that allow flat 50% increase across states? This article in @the_hindu shows why this is impossible. And a fact check in @thewire_in suggests that HM was off. Anyone who can offer a different reading based on the text of the bills? ‘तथाकथित महिला आरक्षण बिल’ के बहाने भाजपा नारी को नारा बनाने की कोशिश कर रही है क्योंकि महिला असुरक्षा, महिलाओं के ख़िलाफ़ बेतहाशा बढ़ती हिंसा व अपराध, महंगाई, बेरोज़गारी, बेकारी, बीमारी और अशिक्षा की वजह से नारी भाजपा से किनारा कर चुकी है। नारी-स्वतंत्रता के विरुध्द भाजपाइयों और उनके संगी-साथियों की रूढ़िवादी संकीर्ण सोच और तंग नज़रिया नये जमाने की नारी शक्ति को स्वीकार्य नहीं है। ये बिल भी रूप बदलकर नारी के अधिकार का हरण करने आया है। इस बिल को लेकर हमारे सवाल और शंका हमारा विरोध नहीं है ये तो नारी के अधिकारों को बचाने की वो सकारात्मक ‘लक्ष्मण रेखा’ है जो नारी के सशक्तीकरण के लिए खींची जा रही है। तथाकथित महिला आरक्षण बिल ‘पिछड़े, दलित, आदिवासी, अल्पसंख्यक’ मतलब लगभग 95% समाज की सभी महिलाओं के ख़िलाफ़ है क्योंकि इससे महिलाओं के बीच विभाजन करने की साज़िश की जा रही है। ये महिला को अधिकार देने की नहीं बल्कि आज उनकी शक्ति को बाँटकर बेहद कमज़ोर करने व कल को उनके हक़ को छीनने की छद्म योजना है। भाजपा के वैचारिक पूर्वजों ने आज़ादी से पहले देश को बाँटने में अपनी भूमिगत भूमिका निभाई और फिर उनके संगी-साथियों ने आज़ादी के बाद भी नफ़रत के नाम पर समाज के भाईचारे, अमन-चैन को बाँटने की ‘कुटिल करतूत’ जारी रखी और अब ये नकारात्मक लोग अपनी नारी-विरोधी सामंती सोच के कारण देश की ‘आधी आबादी’ मतलब महिलाओं की ताक़त बाँटने और हमेशा के लिए दबाये रखने का षडयंत्र कर रहे हैं, जिससे कि आज की जागरूक नारी की विरोध की क्षमता बँट जाए, घट जाए, मिट जाए। ये बिल नहीं है, भाजपा की दरारवादी राजनीति का ‘काला दस्तावेज़’ है। जिन्होंने नारी को अपने संगठनों में मान-सम्मान नहीं दिया, वो राजनीति में क्या स्थान देंगे। अगर पिछडों की आबादी कम-से-कम केवल 66% भी मान ली जाए, तो इनमें ‘आधी आबादी’ मतलब महिलाएं 33% होंगी। जिनके हक़ की बात नहीं हो रही है, इसका मतलब ये बिल 33% महिलाओं को हक़ देने के लिए नहीं बल्कि उनका हक़ मारने के लिए लाया जा रहा है। ये भाजपा और उनकी वर्चस्ववादी महिला विरोधी सांमती सोच की साज़िश है, जिसका हम विरोध करते रहेंगे… इसके लिए भी चाहे ‘साल लगे या सदी’। दरअसल ये 33% महिलाओं को आरक्षण दे नहीं रहे हैं बल्कि 33% महिलाओं से आरक्षण छीन रहे हैं। हम बिल के विरोध में नहीं है सिर्फ़ उनके उस शोषणकारी तरीक़े के ख़िलाफ़ हैं, जिसकी मंशा ख़राब है। अगर किसी काम को करने की सही मंशा होती है, तो शंका नहीं होती है। दरअसल ये हार की हड़बड़ी में उठाया गया क़दम है, इसके पीछे कोई तैयारी नहीं है। हमारे बीच इस बिल को लेकर इसलिए रोष है, क्योंकि प्रक्रिया का दोष है। इस बिल में खोट है, क्योंकि भाजपा की नज़र में सिर्फ़ वोट है। दरअसल महिला आरक्षण बिल का तो आधार ही निराधार है। आरक्षण का आधार अगर कुल सीटों का 1/3 (एक तिहाई) है तो इसका मतलब हुआ कि ये गणित का विषय है और गणित का आधार अंक होते हैं, संख्याएं होती हैं, कोई हवा हवाई बात नहीं। और इस तरह के मामले में संख्या का आधार जनसंख्या होती है, जिसका आधार जनगणना होती है। जब महिलाओं की जनसंख्या के लिए 2011 के पुराने आँकड़ों को आधार बनाएंगे तो महिला आरक्षण की आधारभूमि ही गलत होगी, जब भूमि में ही दोष होगा तो सच्ची फसल कैसे उगेगी। जब गिनती ही गलत होगी तो आरक्षण कैसे सही होगा। ये संशोधन के नाम पर जो जल्दबाज़ी दिखा रहे हैं दरअसल उसके पीछे भाजपाइयों की मंशा ये है कि जनगणना न करनी पड़े क्योंकि अगर जनगणना हुई तो जातिवार आँकड़े भी देने पड़ेंगे और जातिवार आरक्षण भी। ये भाजपा का एक बहुत बड़ा षड्यंत्र है, जिसमें जनगणना आधारित परिसीमन को नकार कर पिछड़ी, दलित, अल्पसंख्यक व आदिवासी महिलाओं का अधिकार लूटा जा रहा है। ‘तथाकथित महिला आरक्षण बिल’ महिलाओं और लोकतंत्र के ख़िलाफ़ ख़ुफ़िया लोगों की गुप्त योजना है, जो तब तक स्वीकार्य नहीं जब तक प्रक्रिया में सुधार नहीं।

The BJP spits venom against the formation of Telangana yet again! Likening the Telangana demerger to the India-Pakistan Partition is foolish and deserves strong condemnation. Telangana was formed due to the protracted struggle and sacrifices of its people. BJP leaders seem to have developed a habit of insulting the sacrifices and self-respect of the people of Telangana. It is utterly shameful that 8 Telangana BJP MPs sitting in the same house could neither stop nor correct their fellow MP’s unacceptable remarks.
