@FUTDonkey For sure, which is disappointing to see, knowing how good he is. Looking forward to seeing both play vs each other in LaLiga next.

@TarboxKyle Yes, I accept that which is why I am not rushing to say Yamal is ahead of him now or anything but he clearly looked like the best player tonight whilst Mbappe outside of a great opening 20 mins or so struggled to have influence.

I can't praise Yamal enough today honestly, the goal he scored tonight completely shifted the momentum of the game singlehandedly, to play that well and be that decisive at 16 years old, wow. It's too soon to say for sure but we could be watching an all timer here🔥

@FUTDonkey While I agree, I will say there are lot of differing conditions that definitely have played a factor in Mbappé’s performances over the past year and will be interesting to see how he bounces back once it’s cleared out. Don’t get me wrong though, stunning performance by Yamal.

Obviously they don't play against each other and Yamal's team conditions are superior but Mbappe didn't look like the best player ITW tonight. Yamal did.
