I rate what Tuchel has done.
We're talking about a country that hasn't achieved anything in 60 years, therefore Tuchel has every right to adopt a completely new approach. Yes, it's a risk and yes, personally I would have picked the squad differently, but I admire Tuchel's courage

@jf1_szn What game should we have won that we didn’t win. The final went to a shootout in 21 and Italy’s team was better than ours. 2018 Croatia clearly better, 2022 France way better, 2024 Spain way better. He won all the games he should’ve won

@FUTDonkey they get it together a bit afterwards but its also nothing more than two very close wins (that couldve gone either way) against teams that certainly didnt have better squads

I don't wanna hear England fans crying about Tuchel. They're the same idiots who were begging for Southgate to get sacked after leading England to 2 Euros finals and their best WC finish since 1990. Replaced him with a German who plays shite football and failed at BAYERN MUNICH.

@jf1_szn England’s team in 2018 is crap, 2022 France are much better than 2022 England and England outplayed them and if not for a Kane disasterclass would’ve probably won the game.

@FUTDonkey sure the resume doesnt look bad but lets be real. 2018 they need pens vs colombia, beat sweden and then knocked out by croatia. is that really overperforming? 2021 seems good but I hardly watched, cant comment. 2022 knocked against first strong opponent.

@ApMcfc 2024 was terrible management yeah, funny thing was it was him bowing down to pressure from the fans and the media. He went away from what he had done in previous tournaments.

@FUTDonkey Any criticism pre-24 wasn't warranted cus he was over-achieving for sure but what I witnessed in 24 playing trippier and foden on the left hand side, trent in midfield over Kobbie and Wharton for a large part of the tournament was disgraceful. Platformed a lot of the squad poorly

@ApMcfc Southgate was never given a fair shot by the English fans and press. They were hating on him back in 2021 after a WC SF with a trash squad. The start of the tournament all anyone talked about was why Grealish isn't starting over Sterling then the latter had a POTT calibre run

He was one of England's best players at WC 18, Euro 21, WC 22. Good guy to have in the dressing room too, an obvious mistake by Tuchel but it doesn't surprise me because he's an idiot.

@FUTDonkey I honestly think this decision alone could drastically change Englands chance of winning the tournament, an O Reilly, Maguire, Guehi and Reece James back 4 would have been immense.

Después de años de estabilidad del club, puedo decir que no hay mejor lugar para Dibu Martínez que Aston Villa, sacando dos o tres puntuales. Su historia en Inglaterra es mil veces más interesante que si se fuera a otro lado. Ya es ídolo y con un título europeo bajo el brazo.
