@TheHeartPart8 @ScrawtV Capcom got early into rollback with SF2HDR. Due to a lot of communication issues at the time between CapUSA and CapJap, rollback being in was a CapUSA thing they would do for releases. SFxT had rollback, SF5 did too. ASW was the last one to adopt it. Even MKX retrofitted it.

@ScrawtV Rollback was industry standard? Dbfz had rollback? Bbcf, xrd, kof, bbtag, uni, gbvs, doa, samsho,samsho, soul caliber all didn't have rollback. It was legit just capcom and nrs and random indy games if you were lucky before strive release

@emezie No one claimed it was the first. It's undeniable that arcsys adding it to strive and being hugely successful was a wakeup call to jp devs to start making it a standard feature.

I need everyone to know that Strive was not the first FG to have rollback. It wasn't even close to the first. Skullgirls, KI, NRS games, 3SOE, Darkstalkers Ressurection, SFxT, SF5, MvCi...all had rollback before Strive.
