The #turtle #rescuecenter in #Favignana saves #carettacaretta in Trapani area. We have to thank them a lot for the visit and for everything they do to save turtles from damages caused by humans. #tunaroute #egadi #egadiislands #sicily #tourism #sailing

We have been at #stabilimentoflorio one of the oldest #tuna processing plant in Europe. Active from 1878 to the 70s it's now a #museum and a beautiful example of #industrialarchaeology. #favignana #tourism #tunaroute #nauticaltourism #egadiislands #sicily

The fort of Santa Caterina dominates #Favignana from above. It probably stands on the site of an old Saracen tower and, as the castle of Marettimo, it was a political prison during Bourbon reign. After a steep climb you can enjoy a splendid view of the #island. #tunaroute

#Tuna Route Pilot #Sailing Experience | Egadi The majestic view from the Castello di Punta Troia in #Marettimo. It was a saracen #watchtower, than a real castle and during the Bourbon domination a prison for political enemies. In 2011 it was restored and turned into a museum.
