@UbiBuff @Dexerto Define successful. Even the most “successful” extraction shooter, ARC, pales in comparison to even Apex, let alone Fortnite or CoD. A Halo battle royale would be a hit, plain & simple. Besides, they literally just dropped an extraction shooter, that is currently struggling.

@itzTizzleYT I understand the argument but the first Hollow Knight was a kickstarter game and people went back to play it when Hollow Knight silksong came out. Marathon is made by Bungie and backed by Sony.

There are SO many amazing video games out there w low player counts. Hollow Knight took years to gain in popularity. Does that mean it is bad because it had low player pops most of its life? No, the game is incredible. Marathon's metrics have little to do with the game's quality
