India now contributing most to AI code repos w.r.t. other countries by a wide margin. How this talent could shape the future tech narrative for India and global in coming years? How could startups leverage this workforce and define their AI strategy? @AjeyGore @ponnappa

@AjeyGore Feature flags become even more crucial for mobile applications where progressive rollout can help find potential bugs early on, which could help to roll back features without redeploying them to App Store. @AjeyGore any good Feature flagging platforms that you recommend?

Feature flags and software configuration are two different things, both can be dealt with properties, and can be read from environment variable, configurations are usually loaded in beginning, feature flags can be used in environment variables but if you mix them, then boom 💣

@ponnappa Totally agreed! To upskill from being a newbie developer to an experienced engineer requires a lot of effort, right insights and soft skills as well. To support this journey, we are building community of Indian devs/tech founders helping them build better, faster and smarter.

@jiten In present times, many freshers and 2-3 years work ex devs are starting as technical founders. How can they upskill themselves and their 3-6 member tech team as the userbase scales and complexity increases?

I am already good at programming and system design. How do I become a senior engineer? I get this question a lot. Many brilliant engineers do not go from being freshmen to senior engineers; some of these engineers are brilliant coders, they can even invert a binary tree ;-)

@jiten Wonderfully summarised @jiten! If followed, can surely help unlock more opportunities for growth in tech. Having the right network with those 2-3 steps ahead as senior engineers can also impact the growth rate dramatically!

Building a startup tech can be very demanding, and one may constantly face build vs buy decisions. Not having correct insights and context can lead to many weeks/months wasted in wrong direction. Always surrounding oneself with colleagues a step ahead in scaling journey helps.

@harshitsoni05 Many examples of side projects evolving into full fledged startups in India. The mindset of solving problems is great to build during college time. + the Network/talent advantage makes it much easier than while working in a full time job.

If you're in college, I'd strongly recommend to start something - side project or startup. It'll teach you a lot more than your formal education.

Flutter is now becoming the top framework for cross-platform development, competing with React Native. Its 'Write once, Build anywhere' approach is liked by many Indian startups and is now adopted in some apps. Here are some orgs working on Flutter:
