I'm in favor of difficulty options in Dark Souls but in the sense that I think it needs a hard mode

@Hmmm1046677 I agonize for days at a time, make virtually zero progress despite hours of sitting in front of my laptop, then hastily try to connect the disjoined scenes together after editing them over and over to the point they're a confusing mess. I then post it out of desperation.

How do people write fics??? For me it's always getting an idea working on its days later, finishing 1/4 of it going to never touche it for weeks remember than complete 3/4 and then a few days later I finish the ending that's kinda sloppy

@damekaltsit I felt that. My first published smut fic was over 6k words of fluff before I remembered I was supposed to make them bang. They hadn't even so much as held hands by that point. I just got so carried away with the cute stuff. It was like the story was writing itself.😭

@popcomes My boy Cyril from Three Houses doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. He has so many adorable and compelling interactions with the other characters. People just write him off as a one-dimensional simp without appreciating why he's so overly attached to Rhea, and how that's tragic.

@wikelanchie Some of my favorite stories, both writing and reading, are completely nonsexual. Smut can be so draining and restrictive.

@rqspberryjam It's still hard to not fret about how well your fics are received. I always worry that people hate them. 😭

sometimes I think "wow I must be a really shit writer to have not gotten a viral fic yet" but some of my favorite fics have less kudos than my most popular one so stats really are meaningless

the issue with cosplay sex is i sucked a guy off ONE TIME in a 2B cosplay and then every other time we hooked up he'd be like "do you still have the 2B outfit?"

@Es_De_Fanfics There was this 250k+ fanfic I've read several times over the years. It's so detailed and fleshed out that I routinely mix up that story with the actual canon.

@FlowerQuib I have more leniency for fics being in first person if the source material uses the first person perspective as well.
