Compensations aren't always bad—sometimes they're an adaptation that helps athletes compete at a high clip. Take an NFL lineman, for example. Is an inability to rotate as much a problem? Would correcting that and having him do a ton of rotational work help? Probably not.

Drop all of those those ‘recovery’ modalities (cryo, sauna, cold plunge, rollers)…train harder and move more efficiently…recovery will take care of itself over time.
