📊 The minimum wage rise doesn't even keep up with inflation. So workers who are already struggling, will struggle even more. The minimum wage is the very minimum an employer can legally get away with paying you. It is not a living wage.  Governments will never manage to boost workers' wages as effectively as trade union action can.
