@AMSchindler1983 @Sgr1300_ER @_JETFIGHTERMAN_ The main issue is cost. For a short time there was some consideration from Lockheed to produce a F-22/ F-35 hybrid, mainly for Japan due to their F-3 program. This included using the F-35's LO coating, avionics, etc.

When I was still in my old 3 percenter group, I kept harping on training against drones. Most shrugged it off. This was in 2021. In 2022, shortly after the war had began I brought it up again, to crickets. After I left, I kept in touch with some of the members. A few more had started taking it seriously, but to what level I don't know. I mean, it's a whole new dynamic now.

Before the assembly line closed in 2011, I always imagined the second generation of F-22s (RIP the dream), would've had the Electro-Optical Targeting Systems, the avionics, and the F-135 engine from the F-35.

@RedRocketReport @AlexGlexden @TheGenCatton You overpaid for a novelty, and your set up isn't the best. You can actually upgrade the entire set up for half the price you paid for the trigger, and get a new brace (or stock, tax stamps are free), and you can get a super safety or FRT. Run your gun.

@_jackie011 @UKFREEDOMUNITE I built this gun with parts I ordered off the internet. This gun is only legal in Texas and Florida. That's a binary blade trigger. Costs $500 for just the trigger. It can shoot faster than full auto. That's why its only legal in Texas and Florida.

Wear and tear on a gun is determined by the number of rounds that have been through it.
If you shot those bullets with semi or binary, it literally makes no difference. It causes the exact same amount of wear.

@RedRocketReport @TheGenCatton Because of over-relying on it, if you routinely shoot it that way, it can cause internal parts to wear out quicker. You already responded to a comment that mentioned that on your original post.

There was no cheaper way to acquire those triggers until after 2020.
Also, they technically gave me two binary triggers for $500. My original one broke and they replaced it for free.
How much fuck does a binary trigger age a gun?

@TomcatJunkie Supposedly the local F-14 will be getting new paint and restoration in the new few years. It's currently a Jolly Roger, been that way since it was put in the NAS Jax heritage park. Looks cool, but would be cool to see it represent one of the other East Coast squadrons.
