Liger is the most unhealthy card in md right now. Towers in general are stupid designs, but letting u make 2, both with a live field wipe, and having them be 3800 instead of a manageable 3000, AND you get to attack 4 times with potential boost making it impossible to survive vs these cards to find your out, is way too far imo.
In previous years, it felt like konami had found a nice middleground for towers, like noir, or chaos angel, or PEP, where they are only unaffected by activated effects, and theres conditions attached to them being towers monsters in the first place. Liger throws this out the window and is obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious.
Liger could have been unaffected during the turn its summoned, making luna blind 2nd otk. Or the field wipe could have been ignition instead of quick.
But no, we get this broken monster that makes me wish i was playing vs fossil dyna stun instead.
