Always a bit confused by people giving something say a 9/10 and then not really having anything to truly gush about. At a point the rating feels misrepresentative of (what an outside observer can opine to be) your true connection with a work, you're better off giving no rating

There are plenty of sad/dramatic shows out there but very few feel this blatant in their attempt to make the viewer sad (all while offering nothing of substance). They might as well bypass visuals altogether and put the words "please cry" on screen in bold for 20 minutes...

There's war and they're not subtle with the metaphor, a child started it. I'm actually surprised Ryuumon is quite calm about it. I'm looking forward to what they'll do with it.

Every episode it's getting clearer and clearer on the complete picture about Hinagiku's situation, where due to the duress she felt about an entire village pressuring her to die she developed another personality to cope with it.

I did not think 'Ramparts of Ice' would be a romance anime (I thought it was a healing anime) but if it ever was I thought the pairing would be between Hikawa and Youta 😅

If you're gonna force me to pick my favorite direction style so far for this series, I would choose this. Something about the audience pov being place so far feels like we're peeking through the characters lives, it's intimate

Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk - EP 3 What in the monogatari is happening? 😭 (I have never seen the show) We have a kinda confession in this episode and more chill moments between the characters. The art style feels like it will be roulette every other episode.

I like the character writing between them two, it's not always we start with a good impression, but still they persevere. Hikawa approaching Amamiya is a sign that a part of her is healed and that she can open up to other people again, the wall she built is slowly being opened.
