Both fandoms are wrong on how Takaba's cursed technique works and how Luffy can win. JJK and One Piece fans are right that Takaba's cursed technique is based on his sense of humor. However, it does not mean that it is reactive that if Luffy attacks him at the speed of light Takaba wouldn't get to respond and just dies. Takaba's technique is constantly active that reality warps not only the present action but including the outcome as long as he finds it funny to still be alive after such an attack connects. The only way Luffy wins isn't by brute force but by understanding that Takaba's technique warps with not just Takaba's but also Luffy's. There is also conqueror Haki depending on how Takaba reacts to it and if it is successful that Takaba loses confidence in his hit his CT would fail and Luffy smacks him. Beating Takaba requires Luffy to use his brain.

@Angglio @borgirqing luffy may not be as smart, that's fair, but the powers he possesses are both fantastically greater and an absolute perfect match. If the two goofs fight the battle of attrition will probably lean in luffy's favor

@Jacke_Bee @borgirqing Sure Luffy has his smart moments but it will never be enough facing Takaba. If the smartest character of all of JJK can't beat him, Luffy who only has "smart moments" will never have a chance against Takaba.
