@MavenPolitic Their resentment can be applied to the rest of Britain. It's not a Northern Irish issue but a national one. Non NI Brits couldn't apply the violence of the troubles to their own lives but they can with the acts of last night as part of a wider personal expression

I hate to break the news to everyone, but the prots in NI have been setting fire to people's homes and chanting "foreigners out" for at least a hundred years. The targets last night were more foreign than usual, but locally it wasn't that out of the ordinary.

Last night was a fundamental shift in UK politics. The Southampton protests appealled to the State “Notice this. Admit failure. Please respond.” In Belfast they were not trying to persuade politically. They changed the risk/reward calculation of HMO and shop landlords.

Just saw a video that just happened in Belfast Ireland of a migrant trying to saw Irish mans head off in the street. Not sure if he lived but it doesn't look good for him. Not going to share the video, but it's on @paddygriff's page. Be cautious, it is not something you want to watch. I censored the blood and anything gorey so you don't have to see it in the image.
