@LeeHurstComic I think that half our income tax HMG can do with as they want. The other half, we get to determine what departments that money is split between - then we’ll see what’s important to the public and spend accordingly and not on vanity net zero projects…

IDEA How about we set a legal, simplified tax rate. 15% for everyone on all their income. No personal allowance. Just a flat rate of 15%. Then… The government can only spend that much. No more. It has to live within its means. How about that? Maybe we can the. pay off the debt and then cut the 15% rate further. Sounds like a plan to ne.

Regardless of your politics this poses an interesting question. Paedophiles do not get cured. We can’t watch them 24 hours a day. So, should we keep them here and in doing so endanger our kids. Or, deport them regardless of the potential risk of harm to them?
