NEW: Texas Whataburger manager goes to town on a customer with a trash can and a fry basket after the man tried attacking staff. 41-year-old Anthony William Newhuis was arrested following the incident. According to local reports, Newhuis, who was drunk, was previously ordered out of the restaurant. The man promised to come back and assault the manager after the cops left. Newhuis kept his word and eventually returned. According to witness Billy Jones, when Newhuis returned, an employee hit him in the head with a wire fry basket, knocking him to the ground, before he was beaten with a trash can. Newhuis left and was found behind the restaurant in the parking lot. He was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury, public intoxication, and criminal mischief. Brutal.
