The live streaming community is not tight knit as a whole, there are beautiful pockets of it here and there, but for the most part, it is all an illusion for the viewers & the paycheck. I hope one day this changes, but for now, everyone pretends to be friends with each other while secretly hoping they fail, or at best, secretly hoping they never do as good or better than themselves, and when they do, these groups will do everything to bring them back down. Most of the mainstream industry is made up of fake transactional friendships to sell as much brain rot content as possible. The happiest and most successful stay in their own lanes, because they know that all that is waiting outside of it are hungry nasty people who paint smiles on their faces for the cameras waiting to eat them alive in hopes of one day trading places with them.

I think its time. I will be disappearing from spaces that are exclusively DBD content. I don't hate the people, but the environment has become a nightmare. I'll still support the homies, but I need significant time away from the game and drama.

Ended stream early because some vile human came in and managed to by-pass my server perms and ping everyone in my Discord server hundreds of times with vile and disgusting images 😭 Almost 5 years of running my server I thought we were safe and had everything locked down.. transparently, I didn't realize I had a setting called "External Apps" on which allowed this to happen and I wanted to sincerely apologize for anyone who was subjected to all those pings and nasty. That's on me for not looking into what that setting actually could do. We've fixed the issue and stopped it from happening again, but I still feel terrible that a space I've worked so incredibly hard on was blown up in the matter of 10 minutes and my wonderful community was flashbanged with all that.. Moving stream to tomorrow because I feel sick after having to delete all that.. ⬇️ Make sure you have this setting off folks 👍
