It’s funny cause now that I have long-gotten over my initial distaste for her being in Brand New Day, I am actually really excited to see a genuine no-strings-attached new take on Jean Grey and a new take on an X-Men character in general, especially with this story setup

@bingbongscho A crossover with multiple versions of different characters is going to have multiple versions of different characters. Also the FoX-Men are gonna be gone by the end of this. There is zero point in making a new character from that universe when it’s about to be sunsetted.

@total_cliche Many comic fans get wound up with twists or putting together characters for an adventure that aren’t normally in contact but I think this is neat! Her having a very different setup where she’s held by the government and not with the school is fun! I wanna see how it pans out!

Every live action Jean we’ve had has been tied down to FoxVerse stuff where she hasn’t had much of anything to do except be a plot device, an object of affection, or die. Sadie’s Jean is the first genuine MCU X-Men character and that’s exciting! It’s what I wanted!
