@Whitewvlf1 Several people but mainly one film twitter account mistook the script as being reactionary and bigoted (and perceived Gladys as a transphobic) and kept discourse up for months until the movie came out and revealed that it was Not The Case.

I think a lot of the people mad at this for one aren’t reading it in earnest and seeing this as Kara going about things the wrong way, and for another are forgetting that MAWS is a romcom-with-punching anime at its heart

People forget but the reason 6 (5 to a lesser extent) was Like That was the gaming industry's insistence that survival horror was 'dead' and they needed to go all in on co op action. 7 being an actual survival horror was worth sitting up and paying attention to.

I still love how Thunderbolts* used this shot of Yelena to parallel her growth throughout the movie Going from feeling empty inside, to accepting her death, to embracing the unknown so she can help Bob, to accepting her role as an Avenger with a smile. It’s so beautiful

This does upset me because it pretty much means that if they do get renewed for S4 we’ll more than likely have to wait until 2028 for it since it wasn’t made side-by-side with S3 like S2 was with S1.

Season 4 of ‘My Adventures with Superman’ is “not technically renewed” according to showrunner Andrew Wyatt. He does however state that he and Brendan Coghler pitched their takes for Seasons 3 and 4 to DC Studios. “Please watch the show on Adult Swim, on Toonami, and then HBO Max, and maybe we'll get a season 4.” Season 3 premieres June 13th on Adult Swim.
