@dougrmurphy I definitely think players are scared to lose their place in the starting 11 as it is so competitive. I don’t ever think there would be threats however I do believe it’s not something that would be seen as encouraged to do. It definitely is just the ‘norm’ in football

@_blubba I wonder how much of this isn't helped by some players being scared of losing their place in the starting 11 because of the manager threatening to drop them? It just seems to be accepted in football now
