Jesus is a “muslim” in the Qur’anic semantics of islam / muslim - one who surrenders to the one true God. @GodLogic_GL The term “Father” may be used for God without issue if it means Lord, Sustainer, Nourisher, Al-Rahman, al-Rahim, Protector, etc. In the Quran, Father is rejected for God when it entails a common biological or ontological genus or substance between God and Jesus or when Father means the “sons of God” aren’t accountable to God for their sins.

Now regarding the “Hadd”, you posited that there must be a Mukhasis 😭😭 this does not follow! The Hadd is a relation that arises in respect to God creating! That is that God is completely distinguished from creates and not infinitely extending like you believe. We also allow for brute facts, no issue there. It’s funny how you say our position undermines Asiety when you believe God’s Asiety is dependant upon creation. Answer this question directly, Can God Exist As Self Sufficient Without Creation ? If you read the section I sent you on Ibn Taymiyah, you would’ve seen that if “Jism” means that God is a concrete existent that is spatial and can be “pointed” to in a direction, then he accepts that meaning as it corresponds with the Quran and Sunnah! While rejecting the Lafdh “Jism” as it is not affirmed by the Quran and Sunnah. You also made some unjustified inferences that God is 3 dimensional. You said that we believe God has a “Hadd” if understood correctly, then this is affirmed by the early predecessors! I refer you to a book called “إثبات الحد لله" You also said we must believe that God is composed of parts, if a part is defined as something belonging to the subject and lesser than the subject, then this is affirmed! If it means something separable from the subject like a Lego piece, this is negated. We reject classically theism so we have no reason to uphold ancient Aristotelian and Platonic commitments. All you did was restate our position, you have not shown how any of this results in a metaphysical or logical issue. You on the other hand Dr. Khalil have conceded modal collapse because of your absurd commitments to ADS

Congrats @muslimorthodoxy you just conceded that the God you worship IS a body without using the word jism. The Taymiyya quote you gave me is incomplete and doenst add any defense to your belief. On the next 2 pages the author admits God is spatially extended and can be pointed to. If, as you believe, God is both concrete and spatial - it necessarily follows that He is 3 dimensional (has height, width and depth) and His substance extends over the 6 spatial directions. It also follows that God does not spatially overlap with any creature (in your view), which means God’s 3 dimensions each have a limit / boundary (hadd) in at least one side of each of the six spatial directions. It also follows that God is something that can be spatially pointed at. It further means that God’s substance (you don’t have to call it matter) is of finite extent (see above) and also a composite because it comprises distinct elements that aren’t identical to each other or the whole — ex: you believe God’s face, 2 hands, and feet aren’t identical and also spatially extended and you must further hold that God’s face/hands/feet cannot spatially overlap either; you further believe God’s bottom edge with boundary at creation is different from His top which has a boundary (hadd) only known to God and these don’t overlap either. A spatially extended entity with 3 dimensions that are finitely extended comprised of different edges and constituents (face, hands, feet, top edge, bottom edge) that cannot overlap spatially IS a body!
