Aftersun is an incredible father-daughter film. Esp with how it takes apart the romanticism of a holiday & as we get bits and pieces from her memory + camcorder, it’s a great depiction of how memory fragments and what’s left unsaid

@pixelpreaching any shot from this movie!!! i think wong kar wai’s movies were the reason why i love the specific lighting of the cinefilm and shooting in the dark. i’m a huge fan of the ways the color red shows up in this movie, and this shot of him yearning for her but she’s looking away!!

Good news y'all. I have found at least 5 others that do work, and another 6-8 that need testing. I am honoring the original applicants for any 35mm cameras, but I have two medium format cameras that I will be giving to the winners of a new contest (read more below).
